We kicked off our day with a romantic couples massage in the exclusive couples ritual suite. This experience was the perfect way to start our day of pampering and bonding. Next, we explored the various wellness areas and let us tell you, the emotional shower area was a true highlight. You can customize your experience with different temperature and water jet options.

And, the 8 cervical waterfall massage was simply divine! Our neck and shoulders felt relaxed and rejuvenated after the massage. To end our spa journey, we sipped on a warm cup of hot herbal tea and felt refreshed from head to toe.

The day continued with a pleasant stop at the Rosso Vino da Maurizio restaurant located in the Monte Verde area just a stone’s throw from Piazza Scotti. We were welcomed by Gianni, the owner’s son who, continuing the family tradition, successfully manages this cozy and trendy restaurant.

Gianni showed us to our table and treated us like royalty throughout our dining experience. We let ourselves be advised by the staff and opted for a fish-based tasting menu. As a starter, they served us a delicious hot seafood appetizer and a raw fish dish. Then, we tasted two first courses: homemade pasta with cuttlefish ink and seafood ragù, and spaghetti with shrimp and yellow cherry tomatoes perfumed with saffron. All of this was completed by a turbot with potato and artichoke crust, accompanied by a sparkling rosé wine. The food was of exceptional and delicate quality and despite the variety of dishes it did not make us feel heavy.
